Error Codes

All error responses include an error string in the JSON body.

Status	Meaning	Resolution
400	Bad request - missing or invalid input	Check required fields (e.g., url is required)
401	Unauthorized - missing or invalid API key	Verify your X-API-Key header value
402	Payment required - quota exceeded	Upgrade your plan or contact support
500	Server error - scan failed internally	Retry after a few seconds; contact support if it persists
